CIEH Level 2 Awards in Food Safety

As a registered CIEH training centre and trainer, Bee Trained are pleased to be able to offer this official accredited training course in food safety.

Tailored for your organisation, the initial 8 hour course allows attendees to acquire the necessary knowledge in the theory and practice of safe food handling.

Suitable for food manufacturing, retail and catering personnel, this course has been designed to give food handlers an appreciation of the fundamentals of good food safety practice.

This course, with recognised, final exam is fully approved by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, and was previously known as “Basic Food Hygiene”, or "Foundation Food Hygiene".

Included is a folder with copies of all handouts for you to take away with you, as well as other free leaflets on a wide variety of related subjects, contacts, and useful information. A student reference book, Food Safety - First Principles also included in the course price.

The CIEH recommends that the subject and certificate is refreshed every three years. This is what Environmental Health Officers will be looking for. Consequently, we also offer refresher training courses in the form of a half-day programme - either in-house, or by remote completion of a workbook.
